Affiliate Programme Terms
[Version v1-2026-10-06. Approved by the founder; full legal counsel review is still pending, matching our other legal pages (see Terms of Service).]
As an affiliate you share links to creators on Fanogram and Folo, operated by Social Commerce Ltd (registered in England & Wales) and Social Commerce EU Ltd (registered in Cyprus). When a fan you send signs up and buys, you earn a commission. You don't sell anything yourself, and you are not the creator's agent or employee.
1. Which creators you can promote
Any creator who has switched affiliates ON. Switching it on is that creator's consent, so you don't need to ask them first; one click starts your link. If a creator switches affiliates OFF, you stop earning on sales made after the switch. Your dashboard lists every creator you promote.
2. How a fan is credited to you
- A fan is credited to the first affiliate link they clicked, within the window, before they signed up. That credit isn't changed later by someone else's link, including another creator's.
- The credit follows the fan, not the creator. If a fan you sent to one creator buys from another creator within the window, you still earn.
- It lasts for the attribution window, which is currently 30 days. We can change the window for sales after the change; sales already made keep the terms they were made under.
- The fan's first purchase counts.
- A fan who already had an account before using your link is not credited to you.
- Credit depends on the fan's privacy choices: we only record your link in ways the fan has allowed, and some visits won't be attributable.
3. What you earn
A percentage of each qualifying sale, calculated on the sale price excluding tax, at the rate shown in your affiliate dashboard. Your rate is set by us. A different rate can only be agreed with us and recorded on your affiliate profile; creators can't set or change it. Earnings show as pending until they are payable.
4. Refunds and chargebacks
If a sale you earned on is refunded or charged back, your share of it is deducted from your next payout. If there's no payout to deduct from, it's held as a negative balance.
5. Getting paid
- Payouts use our standard payout methods. PayPal is not offered.
- Before your first payout you must complete identity verification (KYC) and give the tax details we need. Nothing is asked of you before that.
- Affiliate payouts follow the same 14-day hold for chargebacks, the same minimum ($100.00 first payout, $50.00 ongoing) and the same schedule (on request) as creator payouts.
6. Promoting fairly
You must not:
- make false or misleading claims about a creator, their content or their prices;
- promote to anyone under 18, or in places that forbid adult content;
- spam, buy traffic that pretends to be real fans, or use bots;
- bid on or impersonate our brands, or pretend to be us or the creator;
- buy through your own link to earn on your own purchases.
Creators may be their own affiliates and earn on other creators' sales. That is expected and allowed.
7. When we can act
We can pause your account, hold payouts ("freeze withdrawals") while we look into a problem, or remove you from the programme if these terms are broken. When we do, you'll see a notice asking you to contact support.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll tell you before changes to how you earn take effect, and they apply to sales after the change. These terms supplement our general Terms of Service, including its governing-law clause (§16, itself pending counsel review).
9. Contact
